Rai Valley A&P show at the Rai Valley Showgrounds. Gates open and 7am and show stops when the band finishes (approx midnight) Grand Parade is at approx 2pm. This year showcasing Roofliss the amphibian van that crossed cook strait, Rai challenge, woodchopping, merry go rounds. Havelock Mussel Festival 2010 The Havelock Mussel Festival is an annual celebration of this tasty seafood in the Greenshell Mussel Capital of the World, Havelock. Iconic New Zealand entertainer Frankie Stevens will be headlining the entertainment, along with The Lady Killers, Aaron Gilmore & Nerida Cortese of ‘Dancing with the Stars' fame. Along with cooking demos from celebrity chefs Richard Till and Chris Fortune there will be food, wine and beer stalls as well as jewellery, craft and industry stall displays. Mount Freeth Memorial Walk Registrations from 7am -8am at the Waitohi Rugby Grounds in Dublin Street, then after a safety briefing the walk commences and should take about 3 hours for an average walker. There will be a BBQ, entertainment and raffles as a fundraiser for the Children’s Cancer Society. $10 adults, $5 children.

Concert at St Andrews Church. 2pm – 4pm.  The concert will feature Marsha Stringer and Lissa Cowie both of whom trained at the Royal Academy in London and have played in various orchestras and at various venues in Britain and Europe. Maria Archer, a student of Dame Sister Mary Leo, will provide an additional feature. Top Marlborough junior musicians will also be performing.
