GoldenEdge Nelson A & P Show 2011

This year, Marlborough 4 Fun were delighted to have worked with the Association to help manage some aspects of their 2011 GoldenEdge Nelson A & P Show. The weather came to the party after a very windy set up, to allow the many visitors young and old to enjoy the sights and sounds of a traditional A & P show.

There was a fantastic great entertainment line-up this year, with some good old favourites back to the Show in the form of top kiwi band HELLO SAILOR. Also featured this year was the Nelson Country Music Club, great jazz music from some talented young high school musicians and new to the Show for a bit of visual amusement - the Racing Baa Blacks Sheep Racing Team provided some hilarity as the sheep leapt over obstacles !!

All of this great entertainment was surrounded by a selection of industry-based business, craft stalls, food court, the McCashins beer tent, carnival rides, wood chopping and the many livestock displays & competitions you'd expect to find at any great Show. Families with younger children enjoyed the Nelson Building Society Childrens Area - with a few free bits and pieces. The young kids also experienced pony rides which helped to support the Richmond Riding for the Disabled.

The Childrens Area featured the Mitre 10 Mega Bee Expo and the popular Hirepool Animal Nursery.
