Marlborough 4 Fun events are family friendly free for the community to come together to celebrate many different occasions, many of our events have been around for many years and are still much loved events. Marlborough 4 Fun coordinates 13 different events throughout the whole year!

New Years Eve

Ignite Marlborough is held on the beautiful Picton Foreshore every New Years Eve - 31st December from 7pm-12pm. This event is perfect for all ages! Great food trucks, coffee, entertainment for the kids, live music by local and national musicians followed by an epic explosion of fireworks released over the stunning water! 

Summer Series Concert

The Summer Series Concerts are held over three weekends in Blenheim, Picton and Renwick. Three fun filled events during summer, lots of fun activities for the children, live music and delicious food

Children's Theatre

Each year we hold two children's theatre events where we invite children, parents and grandparents to enjoy special shows by local and national performers during the school holidays. A wonderful event for children to learn and be involved in the world of arts and creativity.

Senior Citizen Concerts

Each year we coordinate two senior citizen concerts held in various locations. These concerts are a chance to give our seniors an afternoon of musical acts or performers followed by afternoon tea - tea, coffee and treats provided

Southern Jam
Youth Jazz Fest

This event is one of our largest events - South Island schools and students join us in Marlborough for a week of judged performances at the stunning ASB Theatre, public performances and performances at local primary schools followed by the Finale Gala Night.  This outstanding event not only gives our nations future musicians an opportunity to perform, it also allows the community to experience high quality jazz music.

Christmas Parade 

This event is one of Marlborough's most popular Christmas events! Local businesses, community groups and organizations create incredible floats that are full of diversity that are driven throughout Marlborough's CBD following on from the Lions Mistletoe Market on the first Saturday of December. Beginning from John St at 3:30pm. 

This event wouldn't be possible without the support of Men @ Work and the Blenheim Lions Club. 

Christmas Festival 

The Christmas Festival has recently grown to become the Christmas Festival and Pavolva eating competition. Lots of fun exciting things to do for the children, including Santa meet and greet, special performances from local talent - music and dance performances followed by the much loved Pav eating competition.
